How B.E.S.T. Was Created
Advancing Biportal Endoscopic Spine Surgery
The Biportal Endoscopic Spine Tray was developed in coordination with leading orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Kern Singh, with a clear objective: to create a reusable, high-performance instrumentation system purpose-built for biportal endoscopic spine surgery.
As biportal techniques expanded, it became increasingly clear that many available systems were either fragmented, disposable-driven, or not optimized for a consistent workflow. Surgeons required a comprehensive tray designed specifically for this approach, while facilities needed a solution that aligned clinical performance with operational sustainability.
B.E.S.T. was created to bridge that gap.
Through direct clinical insight, procedural refinement, and hands-on surgical experience, Dr. Singh helped shape an instrumentation system that prioritizes precision, efficiency, and repeatability. Every instrument was selected and designed with real-world application in mind, ensuring the system supports both technical excellence and long-term value for ASCs and hospitals.
The result is a purpose-built tray that reflects surgeon-driven innovation and a commitment to advancing biportal endoscopic spine surgery responsibly.
